TEAM NEWS

Bournemouth are attempting to rush through new signing Juan Iturbe's paperwork in time to face West Ham.

Fellow new signing Benik Afobe is expected to be involved against the Hammers.

West Ham will assess winger Enner Valencia and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, who both missed Saturday's win over Wolves with minor knocks.

Manuel Lanzini faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of a thigh injury.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Alistair Bruce-Ball: "Bournemouth have boldly spent big on Benik Afobe, hoping his goals will keep them in the league, in turn earning them far more than they've splashed out. Speculate to accumulate...

"Afobe couldn't be arriving at a better time with the team having failed to score in their last three league games.

"West Ham have coped brilliantly with a long injury list recently, keeping it rock solid at the back while Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio have taken their chance to show what they can do. Five of their next six games are against teams in the bottom half so there is a good chance to push on from here."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "I am full of admiration for Slaven Bilic and the job he has done at West Ham this season.

"I think they are a really competitive side so we know we are in for a battle but if we can replicate our good form, then we have got a good chance."

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic on Bournemouth's new signing Benik Afobe: "We were expecting him to play on Saturday so I have already watched him in a few games.

"He's a very good player. They have also signed Juan Iturbe from Roma who is a great winger. Bournemouth are thinking big so well done to them.

"They had a lot of injuries and have done well to maintain good results without those players, but they have probably been waiting for this transfer window."
