Boss Jose Mourinho says Chelsea players are "getting their confidence back" as they prepare for Tuesday's Champions League tie at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Blues are 15th in the Premier League, but ended a run of three straight defeats in the competition by beating Norwich 1-0 on Saturday.

"We are very disappointed with the bad results we had for a significant period of time," said Mourinho.

"We need to keep getting results for our happiness, pride and fans."

Chelsea are second in Group G with seven points from four games, three points behind leaders Porto, who play third-placed Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

Mourinho said: "We haven't qualified yet but we are OK. Everything is in our hands. If we play like we have been doing, we can win.

"It's simple. If we lose, we are in trouble. If we draw, we can qualify in the last game. If we win, great chance to finish first."

The Blues, who host Porto on 9 December in their final group game, have no new injury concerns.

Maccabi, who have lost all four of their group games, could be without striker Dejan Radonjic because of a calf injury, but midfielder Tal Ben Haim II is expected to feature.

Were Chelsea worried about travelling?

Mourinho said his players were happy to travel to Israel, despite heightened security following the Paris attacks on 13 November.

"The best way is to focus on football and the happiness you have to play football, the responsibility you have to play football, and to leave security questions to people who know more than we do," he said.

In 2001, one month after the September 11 attacks in New York, six Chelsea players were absent from a trip to Israel for a Uefa Cup game against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Mourinho said he had no new injury worries before Tuesday's fixture

Graeme le Saux, Marcel Desailly, Emmanuel Petit, William Gallas, Albert Ferrer and Eidur Gudjohnsen were the players who did not travel.

"I didn't have one single problem inside of the squad. I didn't have a Graeme le Saux," said Mourinho.

"I had everybody without fears, just wanting to come. I had even a player who maybe tomorrow or after tomorrow, his wife is having a baby and he's here to play, because he knows how important it is for us."
