Defender Darren O'Dea is out of Dundee's rearranged Scottish Cup tie against Falkirk with a leg injury.
Julen Etxabeguren, James McPake, Gary Irvine and Daryll Meggatt are also on the sidelines, but Kevin Holt is fit.
New signing Arturo is not eligible to play as the Spanish striker was not registered before the original date for the fourth-round tie.
Blair Alston was left out of Falkirk's weekend game, but he will be included in the squad for Tuesday.
Manager Peter Houston told his club website that the midfielder had been absent for tactical reasons rather than an approach by St Johnstone to sign the player at the end of his contract in the summer.
The original tie between the two was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, with drainage issue rendering the pitch unplayable a second time.
Dundee manager Paul Hartley: "We know Falkirk are a good side. We've had them watched and they've got some very good players.
"I always thought Peter Houston would make a good manager and he's proving that now.
"He's got experience of this competition and his teams always play open football.
"So we're under no illusions. It will be tough, but we're prepared for that and are looking forward to the tie."
Falkirk manager Peter Houston: "We had a great run to the final in the cup last year. I thought we were very unfortunate not to win it.
"We want to go there again and this time win it.
"Hopefully we'll go up to Dens Park and get the result.
"We've 1,000 fans going up to Dundee. There'll be some good backing for our players.
"We're not expected to win the tie, Dundee are the Premiership side, but on our day, when we're at it, we can beat anybody."
