Goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler is having talks about joining Premier League champions Leicester City, says his club Hannover.
Zieler, 27, joined Hannover in 2010 from Manchester United, where he failed to make a senior appearance.
"He will complete a medical while in England," added the statement on the German club's website.
Zieler, who played two League One games for Northampton on loan from United in 2009, has played six times for Germany.
He was part of Germany's World Cup-winning squad in 2014 but did not make an appearance in Brazil.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of a first Champions League campaign next season.
