Swansea City: Garry Monk backs club's spirit to prevail
Manager Garry Monk believes the "Swansea way" will help the club through their difficult run of form.
The Swans take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, having won just once in nine Premier League matches.
Liverpool are six points above Swansea after a 4-1 win at Manchester City and have shown improvement under new manager Jurgen Klopp.
"I think he's done great, the team are doing well and are in a good run of form," said 36-year-old Monk.
"One or two results changes things very quickly."
'Trust what we do'
Monk took charge in February 2014 after Michael Laudrup's departure.
Following his permanent appointment in May 2014, Monk guided Swansea to eighth place last season, their highest Premier League finish.
"You have good periods and bad periods throughout every season. The main point is we trust what we do," Monk said.
"We've been very successful in my time here as a manager and the players trust that. Everyone throughout the club trusts that process.
"You will get bumps along the way and we're in a moment when we're not playing at our best, not getting results.

"Trusting the process is the only way and regularly speaking to the players day in day out, speaking to the chairman and the board and all those people I think everyone believes that.
"The players are trying their hardest, myself and my staff and the board and everyone else.
"We're not like other clubs, we don't follow the pack."
Difficult run of games
The match at Liverpool is the first a three difficult games for Monk's team.
Premier League surprise package Leicester visit Liberty Stadium next - complete with record-breaking scorer Jamie Vardy.
And that's followed by a trip to leaders Manchester City.
"The players know that we'll get through this period. The players have great belief in that, it's as simple as that."
The Swans will be without former Liverpool player Jonjo Shelvey at Anfield because the England midfielder is suspended for one game after receiving five yellow cards this season.
