David Moyes has dropped out of the running for the Aston Villa manager's job, BSports understands.

Moyes was included on a three-man shortlist to replace Remi Garde and was tipped to be the new manager after being interviewed last Thursday night.

However the Scotsman has now ruled himself out after considering the job over the weekend.

The ex-Manchester United and Everton manager has been without a club since being sacked by Real Sociedad in 2015.
