TEAM NEWS

Norwich City midfielder Alex Tettey remains sidelined for the visit of Arsenal because of a groin injury.

Captain Russell Martin is available, having missed last weekend's trip to Chelsea for personal reasons.

Alexis Sanchez suffered a tight hamstring in Arsenal's Champions League game this week but is set to play.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit after a hamstring injury and fellow midfielder Aaron Ramsey made his comeback from a similar problem on Tuesday.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Guy Mowbray: "Does a bleak mid-winter beckon for Norwich?

"It's certainly been an awful autumn - slipping from a promising start to having two points fewer at this stage than the Canaries side that was relegated two seasons ago.

"Given Arsenal's injury troubles, and after another Champions League week, I'd ordinarily veer towards saying that this might be a 'good time' to play the Gunners. Now I think the opposite.

"After losing at West Brom, Arsene Wenger got a real response against Dinamo Zagreb - particularly from the star trio of Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez.

"In an open, entertaining game they might just shine brightest again."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Norwich City manager Alex Neil: "We will be regarded as one of the smaller teams in the league, but even when so-called bigger teams come to our place, they have been happy to sit behind the ball, soak up pressure and hit you on the counter attack - and that sort of surprised me.

"You would have thought that some of them would have come here and tried to impose themselves, go toe-to-toe, but that has not been the case."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger compared Alexis Sanchez to Leicester City's Jamie Vardy: "His style is very explosive and a very committed style.

"Vardy is a bit similar. They go when they go. They are like the lion, he has to catch the animal in the first 200 metres. If he doesn't get there, after he's dead. They are these kind of killers. When they go, it is to kill and after they have to stop."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION

I don't see Norwich causing Arsenal many problems. True, Arsenal lost at West Brom last time out, but I cannot see them losing two Premier League games in a row.
