Norwich have signed Switzerland defender Timm Klose from German side Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee.
Klose, 27, joins the Canaries on a three-and-a-half-year deal having made 39 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
"As a player, he's got good technical ability and he's solid in the air," said Norwich manager Alex Neil.
Klose is the Premier League team's fourth January signing after Matt Jarvis, Ivo Pinto and Ben Godfrey.
Centre-back Klose featured for Wolfsburg in the 3-2 Champions League victory over Manchester United in December, and also played for Switzerland in their Euro 2016 qualifiers against England.
"It was always a dream to play in the Premier League and Norwich have given me a big chance," he said.
"Now I want to give everything I can to be a good player in this league."
