Stoke defender Geoff Cameron and midfielder Stephen Ireland are doubtful after missing the FA Cup match against Doncaster because of injury.
Manager Mark Hughes is expected to recall his established players, having made nine changes for Saturday's game.
Matt Jarvis is in line for his first Norwich appearance since October after recovering from a knee injury.
New signing Ivo Pinto will not be considered for action while he is being integrated into the squad.
John Roder: "Stoke and Norwich both made full use of their squads for the FA Cup third round. Stoke can continue to dream of two Wembley finals, while Norwich are left, in Alex Neil's words, to their 'bread and butter' of Premier League survival.
"The Canaries' chances of staying up received a huge boost with successive home victories over Aston Villa and Southampton.
"Stoke will hope to extend Norwich's poor recent away record and the trio of Marko Arnautovic, Bojan Krkic and Xherdan Shaqiri will make life very difficult for the visitors, who would surely be happy if it ends as a draw, just as it did at Carrow Road back in August."

Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "We've had a good run in terms of injuries. We know with the intensity we play, unfortunately at some point the likelihood is that we will probably receive a few setbacks.
"It's how we deal with those and whether we can cope, but with the strength of quality in the squad we have done well in recent years and that should sustain us this year as well."
Norwich manager Alex Neil: "Stoke are a good side. The front three certainly give them a real threat so we'll have to make sure we try and eliminate that.
"It's maybe not a glamorous game but these are the types of games where the three points are absolutely crucial and we've got to attack it and approach it as such."
Do I think the Canaries are capable of going to the Britannia Stadium and getting something from Stoke? No.
