Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey returns after completing a ban.
French full-back Franck Tabanou will be out for several weeks after injuring a thigh muscle in training.
Leicester defender Ritchie de Laet will be sidelined for up to a month after suffering an ankle injury, while Swans loanee Nathan Dyer is ineligible.
The game comes too soon for Matt James, who continued his recovery from a long-term knee injury by playing for the Foxes' development side in midweek.
Conor McNamara: "Can Swansea accomplish what Leicester's last 11 Premier League opponents have failed to do - can they shackle Jamie Vardy?
"Of all the incredibly talented strikers who have played in England, only an Irishman - Jimmy Dunne - has ever scored in 12 top-flight games in a row.
"Dunne passed away in 1949, aged just 44. Vardy's recent exploits have revived Dunne's name and legend. Achievements like that are never forgotten.
"Leicester's current number nine doesn't need the 12 gifts of Christmas; not two turtle doves, nor a partridge in a pear tree. Jamie Vardy needs a 12th goal for immortality."

Most people will expect the Foxes to go to the Liberty Stadium and win. I am going for something different though.
Swansea are another team on a bad run but, unlike Aston Villa, I think they are better than their results suggest.

Swansea manager Garry Monk on Jamie Vardy: "He has been exceptional and it's a great story as well from where he's come from.
"We obviously have good experience of coming up through the leagues and players who have played non-league and come through to this level, so our club will appreciate a story like that.
"But it's our job to put an end to that story and I'm sure our defenders will."
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri: "The project of the chairman this year is to save Leicester and the next year slowly to achieve the high position.
"We want to go into Europe... but we must keep our feet on the ground and continue to think about our goal. The fans can dream, but not us."
