TEAM NEWS

Tottenham are expected to restore the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen to their starting line-up.

Forward Clinton Njie remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri expects leading goalscorer Jamie Vardy to return following minor groin surgery last week.

N'Golo Kante is fit despite being substituted on Sunday, while Demarai Gray could make his league debut.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

John Motson: "These two teams clash in the second of three matches against each other in 10 days, but there is no doubting that this is the most significant.

"Few people would have predicted back in August that by this stage of the season Tottenham and Leicester would have lost just four league games between them.

"Both clubs played fringe players in the FA Cup on Sunday but will revert to their strongest line-ups for a game that could carry huge significance in the race for the Champions League places and a potential title challenge.

"If Tottenham win they are just a point behind Leicester, but lose and the gap widens to seven points."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino on any potential January signings: "The market is very difficult in winter and our power is in the changing room, in the squad, the team. It's not about one name, one player more or less.

"It's important to find the right player who can help us. That player will come, but if he doesn't it's not a big worry for me.

"I can understand people are concerned we need one striker more, but we are very confident in following the same direction as the first half of the season."

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri: "I think this will be a completely different game [from Sunday] because I will change some of the players.

"This is a crazy Premier League season and we will fight to achieve the maximum, but we will take it step-by-step."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri will have taken more away from his side's FA Cup draw with Tottenham on Sunday than Tottenham counterpart Mauricio Pochettino.

I just think this game will be completely different, though, especially because I cannot see striker Jamie Vardy returning from injury yet.
