Wales choose training base for Euro 2016

Euro 2016: Wales training base to be in Brittany, northern France

Wales will be based in Brittany in northern France for Euro 2016, the nation's first major finals since 1958.

Chris Coleman's squad will stay at a four-star hotel overlooking the Dinard coastline, near St-Malo, with nearby FC Dinard their training base.

The complex has two training pitches and will be equipped with a 600-seat stand, gym and a media centre.

Wales are in Group B with England, Russia and Slovakia for the tournament that starts on 10 June.

Coleman's side face Slovakia in Bordeaux on 11 June, Roy Hodgson's England side in Lens on 16 June and Russia in Toulouse on 20 June.

The 1958 World Cup in Sweden was the last time Wales played in a major tournament finals.
