TEAM NEWS

Norwich's Alex Tettey is set to return after a groin injury, while Russell Martin could feature after being an unused substitute against Arsenal.

On-loan winger Matt Jarvis remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes could play despite being stretchered off with a neck injury during the win at Aston Villa last weekend.

Sebastian Prodl and Joel Ekstrand are both still unavailable with calf and knee injuries respectively.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Simon Brotherton: "Norwich had Watford's number last season, beating them 3-0 home and away as they fought for promotion from the Championship.

"Yet Watford go into this fixture in a far more favourable position and have won three of their last five games, including last week at Aston Villa.

"In contrast, Norwich have won only one of the last nine and sit just three points above the relegation zone, six points adrift of this weekend's opponents.

"I saw Norwich work hard to beat Swansea 1-0 the other week, but this will be my first visit of the season to Vicarage Road and I'm keen to see first hand the work being done by Quique Sanchez Flores."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores: "We know about the history last year for Norwich against Watford: they won at home, they won away.

"They have a very good team and they played very well in the Championship last year, so we respect a lot this team."

Norwich manager Alex Neil: "The performances haven't been reflected in the points that we have got, but ultimately it is about us making sure that we get those points, and Saturday is a great opportunity for us to do that...

"We know the threat that Watford pose, and we will make sure we are set up to combat that, but also to have a threat going the other way.

"In recent weeks, we have been gradually improving. On Sunday [against Arsenal], we put a really good performance in."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION

Watford look comfortable in mid-table, which shows what a great job Quique Sanchez Flores is doing, especially when you consider it is his first season in English football.

Norwich picked up a good point against Arsenal last week but they have struggled away from home and I see that continuing on Saturday.
