TEAM NEWS

West Brom will be without midfielder Claudio Yacob, who is serving a one-match suspension, but defender Chris Brunt is available after a ban.

Head coach Tony Pulis says one or two unnamed players have niggles which need to be assessed ahead of the match.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli will return to the side after missing the draw with Chelsea through suspension.

However, fellow midfielder Ryan Mason has been ruled out for around two weeks after sustaining an ankle injury.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Jonathan Pearce: "Tottenham are enjoying their longest ever unbeaten Premier League run. They're unbeaten in five visits to The Hawthorns and the 'Hurri -Kane' is blowing strongly again.

"Spurs will start as red-hot favourites but West Brom are showing enough resilience to suggest they've fully bought into the Tony Pulis recipe for survival.

"They won't boss possession. They will try to shackle Dele Alli and starve Harry Kane of supplies. Spurs looked jaded against Chelsea. They might have to settle for a draw here."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis on Saido Berahino's form since he was denied a summer move to Tottenham: "If you look at last season, the most influential player at the club was Saido.

"He got the goals which got us the points which kept us in the league. This year we haven't had that.

"For six months we've played with Saido being nowhere near as good as he was last year. I'm not blaming Saido, not anyone, it's just fact."

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino: "If the people believe that we are a contender [for the title] I am happy because we show quality enough for that.

"Our ambition is always to be as high as possible in the table, but we are realistic. We are still very young - we have the youngest squad in the Premier League."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION

I have a feeling Tottenham's impressive unbeaten run, which has lasted since the opening day of the season, might be about to end.

The way West Brom play, they will be able to stop Spurs and I think the Baggies will edge what will probably be a very scrappy encounter.
